How much of an impact do you think baiters have on spot and stalk? Where do you recommend going to get the furthest away from bait? Just off the beaten path?

If you start in Idaho go east till you see “welcome to Montana “ that’s usually far enough. Hounds won’t be in the more roadless backcountry and will be easy to get away from, baits are everywhere in north Idaho.
