First cam check and put on some miles with Odin…first time my cams did not pick up wolves in a long time….so just maybe things trending in the right direction no big bulls but good calves and little guys…tons of bears wish boo boos ate wolves…gonna be out each week till my rifle opener looking for some targets and calling for friends…good luck to everyone and enjoy the best time of year!

Interesting. Brother said he heard howling other morning, I think last saturday, up checking a spot. Far up north though.

First day calling for a friend called in 2 dandy 6s just inches and one would be dead for a shot and both came in hot aNd heavy to bugling or devil wind betterPracticed calling a lot this year 10 practice bugles and 2 miles in and here they camesee if you can see his brow tines at about 45 yds as he came in filming with iPhone …..funny part 2 hrs later guy hearing action comes in looking for my bugle saying there were bullls all over in hereyes there were and the one who got them talking was old man with a little bugling experience

I’m glad to see some good evidence of elk around here! I’ve had about the hardest elk season I can ever remember lol.

That's impressive. Watch out for the big brownies, ran into a HUGE grizz Friday, about shit my pants while having a stroke. Thank god we were yappin like crazy and it knew we were coming

Funny you say that; 2 years ago we were cow calling in a particularly elk-y spot, and had a grizz come crashing in to the calls. Fortunately, he figured out what was happening and split.
