North Texas 10 Point

After no success all season long this deer was taken in the last hour of the last day on January 3, 2021. This mature buck had followed two other younger bucks out into the small wheat field where I had hunted almost every weekend since November. I'm very grateful to have been able to shoot two nice deer off the same low fence 100 acre family farm near Perrin, TX two years in a row now. Aged at 5.5, and scored 138 4/8"

Man that’s a good buck. Sure does make it special killing one of family land too.

Great deer for this area. There are some really nice deer around here if you have the time or acerage to find them. I'm in Mineral Wells and I took this a few years ago on my boss's place just north of town. I wasn't watching the property much, no cameras, just went out there one day for a sit and this guy walked out just before sunset.
