Have most everything for converting my Tikka t3x into a 280ai. I'm somewhat paralyzed on ordering a stock for it.

Needs to be left handed.
T3x action
sendero barrel channel.

Using it for everything up through mule deer. Maybe elk too though at some point I'll build out my 7mm rm for elk.

What I know I want.
flush mount for javelin bipod

What I think I know I want
Adjustable cheek comb
Flush cups, 1 or 2 up front and one in back instead of sling studs.

I'm looking for an overall weight of probably 8.5lbs - 9 lbs. Not too heavy, but not so light that it is tough to shoot.

Figuring manners, mcmillan. Maybe Mesa.

What features am I missing or which ones of those am I likely going to regret getting?
Can a local smith put in the javelin flush mount?

FYI I talked to Jim at Manners last week and he said they are 8 months out right now.

I have seen where some folks online have said that they make stocks in batches so just depends on which model you order and when the next time they run production on that model is. I asked Jim if that is true and he said that is absolutely false and that all stocks are made in the order in which each request is received...that as of right now they are 8 months out on turnaround due to demand.
