The photo is from yesterday, Lee’s Ferry. We’ve the same photo mated and framed in our living room from 41 years ago, she worked for Arizona fish and game, creel surveys. Pretty damn sure I wasn’t what she was looking for

It looks like the land is sliding into the river.
That it does. (y)

Those light-colored areas on the left side are actually rills of warm water flowing from the hot springs/geysers into the river. They pretty much wipe out all the vegetation in their paths.

I didn't hang around long enough to see if the angler caught any trout. Me thinks maybe not, though, since the water in that particular area might be a bit too warm for trout.

Hunting out in the middle of a large ranch in the Trans Pecos when I spotted something white feeding in the greasewood. It stayed in one area for two days then moved about 2 miles to another pasture and then never seen again. 11-IMG_450620.JPG
