Have some pigs terrorizing my feeder location. Stuck around tonight to see if I can catch them in the act.
Been showing around 6-6:30, still in daylight, so I am hoping this will be a quick hunt and successful hunt.

The sting of corn I put out today in hopes to catch them all lined up and ready for some semi-auto fire.

Wind is from south, perfect for my set up, and weather is pleasant but not too warm, blowing about 10mph gusting to 15-20 maybe

Nice thing about my place is it is covered in leaves and I can hear the pigs coming from a ways away, so they don’t sneak up on me like deer sometimes can.
Will keep you all posted of what I see and hopefully shoot

Wind is dying down. Should make differentiating between wind rustling leaves and pigs moving easier.
Come on piggies...

For sure it’s the sounder. Heard some
Snorts in there. Question is when will they show themselves?

Well they showed up right at dark, thankfully was hunting with my thermal scope. Threw lots of lead their way, had several hit and either gobble off or drop and then get back up as I was continually scanning the field and shooting through a whole magazine of .223, those pigs didn’t know which way to go.
Anyway, found three, all three were running shots. Not trying to brag there but just saying the first couple I hit that were stationary must have been bad shots as they didn’t DRT.
Anyway, glad to have thrown lead tonight, hopefully that deters them from coming back for a bit.

That’s a heck of a problem to have! I miss hunting hogs. Good eating.
