I have owned a Tikka M695 in 25.06 for about 17 years. It is the blued/synthetic version. It's a shooter. These days I shoot Barnes 100 gr TTSX.

It's actually still in really good shape but I have been thinking of making some changes. I am thinking about a Mcmillan Hunter Edge stock and possibly rebarreling to .280ai, then I would get the completed rig cerakoted.

Obviously it doesn't take long for those costs to add up. I'm wondering if any of you guys have had a old barrel reamed for a new caliber rather than going for a all new barrel blank? If the costs climb too much I'll probably just sell the gun, I have always loved it but I like trying new things too.

Cheers,
