Hey All,
To keep my hunting rifle and new competition setup separate (same chambering) I decided to buy some SRP Lapua brass. Also because I knew I couldn’t find small rifle primers
We’ll come to find out you have to be careful with SRP in a 6.5cm and need to use magnum to avoid cratering the primers. I’m sticking with LRP for my hunting 6.5, the comp rifle would see from about 30 degrees to 90 degrees ambient shooting temp. I can find WSR, CCI 400, rem 6 1/2 and rem 7 1/2 locally
I read the 7 1/2s have a harder cup and are similar to a magnums small rifle. Would Remington 7 1/2s work well for the 6.5cm?
