Separated Shoulder Recovery Time

I wrecked my road bike this past Saturday and separated my shoulder (class 3 - tore some ligaments but hopefully won't need surgery). I'm wondering if anyone else on here has done this and, if so, how long was it till you could shoot your bow again? I messed up my drawing shoulder which I think will add to the delay. Also, did the big bump that apparently never goes away mess with you when packing a heavy load?

I'm hoping I've still got a chance at MT's archery season which runs from about the beginning of Sept. through the middle of Oct...
