Gunwerks action, Muller works 1-8 twist ,5 contour, SS fluted and cerakoted barrel. Timney trigger, carbon fiber stock ,VX 6HD scope. Weighs 8.12 pounds. Little heavy but put a large scope on it for my bad eyes. Is a dream to shoot so far.

Thanks I wish I could take credit
Dang, that is one nice setup! Maybe I will see you up there! Haha

Good luck up there!
Thanks I wish I could take credit for the build and load development, but a friend who was a SF sniper gets all the credit! Hopefully my next one for the wife I can be more involved. I am just squeezing the trigger on this one.

Yup, bolt is on the correct side and you got a great caliber. My current go to is also a correct handed tikka 6.5 x 284 and it's a hammer.

Training is going good I do 120 flights of steps with 87 pounds in pack in the morning. Then after work do 120 flights again to simulate coming off the mountain at the end of the day. Days in between I go to a local gravel pit and hump up and down the sides with same weight. Then I have targets set up at 300 yards that I shoot when I get to the top and out of breath. Hopefully all the pain is going to be worth it 🙏🏻

be oh so careful coming down the stairs, especially with that much weight ! slow and easy down should be the rule
