Show your Tikka ten round groups

Tikka .243 superlite barrel cut to 17", Raptor8. Lapua brass 108 eldm 44grains of StaBall6.5. Had a slight ejector mark on one of the last shots. Waiting on my chronograph to check velocity. How much should a person back down powder charge with a slight ejector mark? 75 degrees F and sunny. Everything was warm.

I personally back down at least half a grain on a warm day and a least a full grain if I have an ejector mark on a cold day.

Not sure your load reference or how deep you’re seating the bullets, but Hodgdon has max at 43.1gr and using Winchester cases, which I believe have more room than Lapua (don’t quote me on this).

Sure shoots good groups though.

Yeah, I went off Hodgdon website and loaded 5. One each at 40,41,42,43,44 grains at around .025 off the lands. I'll back down a grain and shoot some more. I shot a 28 round group with 7828ssc that was 2.2"

Did a little data collection on my first batch of 147 eldm hand loads today. Rifle was still zeroed for the factory 143 eldx loads I was shooting previously.

That is a 30rd group from my factory 20” CTR. Ballistic x only allows me to record 10 shots but I measured the group at 1.3175moa with calipers. Either way this thing certainly feels like the easy button!

Oh yeah! Just arrived tonight. Kudos to Form, UM, and Stockys. Was one of the first people to pre-order and really appreciate the 2-day shipping to AK! Got a call just on Monday from the coatings team to confirm details of cerakote, so that’s pretty speedy work! The “inverted color/gray scale Finnish M05 winter camo” idea I pulled out of my ass turned out pretty cool too. Best feeling grip and texture of any stock I’ve felt, ergonomics are natural to shoulder off hand after a few presentations, and immediately so in prone/sitting/tripod supported. The fore-end stiffness is excellent even with dead-cat inlet contour… I could go on but I am really digging it… enough that I already assume I’ll very likely be putting my Model 70’s custom Bansner stock up for sale this year once that all comes together. Excellent stock!
This rifle/setup, managed to shoot this 10 rnd group today at 100 yards with factory Sierra 130 gr TGK. Just a stock 6.5 Creed superlite chopped/threaded at the end of the flutes and rokstok’d. Feels good!
Needs .1up/.1rt but the NX8 doesn’t deal in small bills.

Brand new Tikka T3x, CTR, 308 w, 20” barrel, NF SHV 3-10X42 & TBAC Dominus CB. Bipod and rear bags. I grabbed a random hand load I had on the shelf for my Savage 308. 4 shots to get it centered, then fired one 5 shot group, shifted down a ¼ MOA, then fired another 5. The high shot is from me not letting the suppressor cool, I was getting a good bit of mirage. ⅞“ group.
