Curious as to folks experience with the Spine Selector in AA. I am shooting a GoldTip Hunter XT @ 300, but AA says it is a bit stiff and "optimum spine" would be 340? DL is 28.5 and pulling close to 70#. I am looking at possibly moving to Easton Axis, and plopping through the Easton Spine tool says I should be looking at 300-250, AA says 340. Insights on whether to listen to AA on spine, or go with manuf is appreciated.

Found the answer in a previous post I made ... "For the spine calc, make sure you have the "jaws" release selected, otherwise it will report stiffer than reality." Did that, and the spines make sense.

Thanks for posting this. I was missing the "jaws" release in AA and was having trouble making sense of the selected shaft.
