Spotting scope thread saver.

Just wanted to pass on a clever idea. I had a couple of old spotting scopes where the tripod/window mount thread was starting to strip out. Believe installing a heli coil would be difficult at best. Found Creedmoor sports had a fix for the issue. They call it the Spotting scope mount saver. It’s a small metal base with 3 extra threaded holes, to solve the mount thread issue encountered, works like a charm. Hopefully this may save someone a little frustration during the hunting season. I run all outdoorsmans heads and adapters. I just loctite an adapter to my spotter one time and done. Never have to mess with the threads again ever.
I can see if you were constantly threading and unthreading this could cause issues.
