Teal Tips

I am trying to figure out a way to attract more real to my place. I live in central AL about 1.5 miles from a decent river. I have a couple oxbow lakes that attracts woodies and some teal but would like to increase the draw.

You have teal staying around past early teal season? Just curious as I’m over in Demopolis area and don’t think we have many teal after teal season

Sorry though I won’t be much help to your question. I head to Louisiana every chance I get during duck season.

Teal are only during season but just not many. Was curious if I could increase how many come in. I’m guessing the water oaks are somewhat a food source but I would say majority is loafing.

Plant some millet or duck forage along the water edge.
