This is basically what I have used for mule deer for the past few years. Knife is sharp, but awkward to hold. The saw is nice for cutting through pelvic bones though.

Looks like a really interesting concept. For hunting I use a few different Havalons, and a Gerber with their big changeable blades.

I pack a cheap Kershaw in my pocket and the Argali carbon one for anything that has to do with meat or skinning

Great idea. Looking forwards to the review.

I currently use (I don’t RUN with knives) an outdoor edge razor lite with and without the gut hooks, and a small hatchet in my daypack for busting up the rib cage.

Looks like a great knife.
Im using a benchmade bugout that I keep in my pocket.
Also have an Outdoor Edge Swingblade that I keep in my pack.

I’ve used many different knives over the years and currently have an Outdoor Edge replaceable blade knife and Gerber Randy Newberg replaceable blade knife.
