Some great looking bulls in this thread....and some very nicely done photos!

This my SW Oregon Roosevelt from last fall (2011). I downloaded an app called Gorillacam on to my iPhone. I set it up in the "Time-lapse" mode to take 100 pics in one to five second intervals in order to get a bunch of different shots. The hardest part is balancing the phone on its edge! I guess I just need to make a little attachment for that.

Here is my 2010 Utah bull. It was a tough hunt and not the biggest bull I saw but it was the one I connected on and I couldn't be happier.

And my uncles 2011 rifle bull off of the same unit in Utah

My first archery elk in 2010. I hope to harvest something bigger (Scored 303), but will be just as stoked regardless.

I've added a couple of cow elk to the freezer since that bull, here's last year's archery cow:

Here are two pics from our 2010 elk hunt. my dad has been trying for years and final took one. Sadly, he passed away in his sleep 6 month later.
His mount now hangs besides the one I took and my brother-in-laws in my great room. The iphone pic doest do the mount justice. Scored 410

I feel for your loss. Remember those moments of family fun, hard work and time they will get you through every moment for the rest of your life. What a great bull I can only image the memories that were shared and made on that hunt.

When you go on those remaining hunts of his remember to use/take some of his equipment or something that he would ALWAYS take in his pack. Whether it be a bandana that he always wore around his neck to his special hat, etc. That way when things get tough or aren't going your way you have something physical to see and feel his presence there with you to push you through the hunt.

I realize there's no contest going on, but thought I'd share some of my bull elk photos..
