What broadhead, arrow weight, and speed are you using for your traditional setup for elk hunting?

Thanks!

Gold tip 400 Traditional XT. 30" shaft. 100 grain brass insert. 125 iron will head. Not positive my # at draw length. Probably 53#. Give me a little bit and I'll tell you my speed exactly.

For what your looking for probably be better in the traditional forum.

526 grain arrow. Average velocity just over 176 fps.

Thanks! I didn't see we had a traditional forum - I did look haha. If somebody could move this thread, it would be appreciated.

My recurve setup is almost identical to Billy Goat except I'm about 51#. Same arrow setup, arrow weight and speed.
I like 525 grain arrows from my recurve, longbow and compound.

I'm shooting a 64" ILF recurve right at 50#, 19" dryad riser and long Uukha Vx limbs.

My hunting arrow is a Axis 340 cut 31", 75gr insert and a 150gr BH. I have been shooting the Buzzcuts, VPA 2 and 3 blades, and the Jaeger from Custom king...all shoot well out to 40 yds., 585gr TAW.

These are my old skinned limbs- WW Inno's, I just can't bear to skin my Vx's.
