No spring bear for me this year so hopefully two toms will come home with me. I've filled both tags here in OR the last two years and would love to keep the streak going.

Yep....going to be shed hunting and turkey hunting in NM in a few more weeks because its an OTC hunt starting APR 15.....counting down now. Also waiting on the Draw results for deer and elk in NM.

A couple more weeks, Ohio youth is April 16th . Regular season starts the 18th.

The season opened here in Cal last weekend. I was refinishing some floors so couldnt make it out but hoping to get out Sunday. Have yet to harvest a bird maybe this season.

I'm getting pretty stoked. I've got 5 days off at the end of April and will have 4-5 tags in three states.

Last year was tough. I hunted hard in two states for one bird. The previous year I tagged a personal spring record of four gobblers.

I haven't even dug the calls out yet and I still have a few spots to scout close to home.

I can't believe I waited an entire year for Turkey season to open then squandered it in 3 short weekends. I sure wish I had another tag .
