Might work well enough. Perhaps you'd like to test it and let us know? For half the cost of just an outdoorsman stud, it may be worth the risk.

All comments are dually noted!

I did order one. I figure, if it's junk amazon will most certainly take it back.

I'll update once it arrives.

I ordered a $11 Barska tripod adapter for my Mavens. It is over a 1/4 thick and will certainly never break, and works great. Not sure what the allure of a high end adapter is?

Not Fiddle “F”ing around trying to screw the Barska one into your binos every time is part of the “allure”

This amazon one looks like it has potential

Tracking says it should be here tonight.
I should have time on Thursday to get it set up and see how it does.

For smaller Binos this may work fine. I cant see putting 12x50s on that small of a stud and relying on it to hold steady. The Outdoorsman is expensive but worth it in my opinion. That whole screw fiddling thing would get annoying for me.

Review complete!
As I suspected, no issues to report. The product appears to be made well enough for my intentions and certainly well enough for its price tag!

I never realized the higher end ones had a quick release type set up. Good to know.

Well if it’s gonna rip off outdoorsmans then it should at least be quite a bit cheaper (unlike the newer Vortex mount).

It doesn’t have a set screw though, how well will the stud stay on long term?

It screws in. Just put some thread lock on it and it won't come out without a fight.

I think its worth the money and it looks fine. The difference between this one and the Outdoorsmans is that the Outdoorsmans is spring loaded and very quick and easy. And on top of that you can still screw lock it down. But for those who do not want to pay the price for the Outdoorsmans set up then this is a good alternative. Fatrascal.
