Just bought my last rifle, Model 70 Super Grade in 7mm-08 Walnut. Need a scope( Gloss) and rings and bases( Gloss). Not sure about size of scope so it doesn't look out of proportion. Rings and bases there are so many choices. Want to make this as retro as i can. What would you do? Any pics would be super helpful. Thanks guys.

Leupold or Leica Visus are the only options in glossy that I know about. cameraland has a heck of a deal going on visus (at least they did)!
I did the same thing with a Winchester Jack O'Connor tribute rifle a few years back. I found a mint 6x German Zeiss at a gun show that fit the bill. Good luck!

I think the old weaver rings or leupold rings. Retro... maybe a weaver k4 or leupold 4x,6x, 2-7,3-9. All available in gloss if check with custom shop.
