Which bag for May in NZ?

I have a big Agnes encampment 15 and a EE 10 degree quilt and I am trying to decide between the two for my upcoming New Zealand trip. The big Agnes is synthetic so I’m leaning that direction. However the quilt is so much lighter.

My pad is a eped downmat 7 so it’s super warm.

West side of the South Island. It’s probably gonna be snowing. I think I just need to suck it up and carry the synthetic
