Who's hunting sheep soon?

Go Get em Boys!! Most of you know I've already killed my Last Ram, he's in my Avatar.

I look forward to reading about your adventures in the Sheep Mountains.
Be Blessed and safe. Take your time, soak in every moment of every moment. You never know, this year might be your last year chasing Rams. Hopefully you'll have many more years and be able to decide on your own accord when your time chasing rams is over like I was able to. Peace....

Here's my sentiment, I've posted this before but what the heck.

An Alaskan Sheep Hunters Poem
By Snyd

With the sun at my back and the breeze on my face
I hope to find that magical place
Where the Dall Sheep live in the their majestic home
…Alaska, the Last Frontier

From the Wrangells to the Brooks and the Alaska Range
From the Chugach Mountains to the Talkeetnas and Whites
From the Tanana Foothills and Mentastas too,
To the Kenai Mountains to name a few
These are the places the Rams call home
…In Alaska, the Last Frontier

In search of great Rams, my partner and I
Together we go with hopes as high
As the mountains we hike
…In Alaska, the Last Frontier

Tis the hunt of a lifetime if one can go
It's not like hunting the Whitetail you know!
There is nothing quite like the stress and the strain
Sheep hunting puts on the body and brain

But the rewards are great for the ones who make
The arduous trek for that's what it takes
For a chance to see the Mountain Sheep Ovis
…Ovis dalli in the Last Frontier

If one can get
The chance at a shot
He surly has earned it
But then if not
He still has the joy deep down in his soul
Of knowing he stood
Where many can't go

To that place of a dream for many a hunter
To the tops of the Mountains
Ovis calls home
…In Alaska, the Last Frontier

That's a sweet looking mouflon ram! I gun killed a nice ram a few years back. That's a heck of an accomplishment with a bow if you ask me.

I drew a rifle tag as well this year as backup. Thought I was for sure headed back with rifle in hand. :ROFLMAO: It's certainly a difficult bow hunt.

Open 8/18, on ca. For a desert@12k feet. Almost have my slam. Like my dad.

For what it is worth, I wish I could go sheep hunting. It’s not something you can do in my state as far as I know, and I think it would be kinda expensive to go to another state to do it.

Buddy drew a Colorado Ram tag! Super Pumped for that!
I cant msg nor post in classifieds but would you sell separately the swaro 25x50 eyepiece? I can call/text/email or msg you with my 1300+ Ebay account. I think I can get PM's . If you do part out plz DM with eyepiece price only and ways to contact you

I'll be hiking into the mountains here in AK on Aug 6. The way things have been going I am not sure I can say I will actually be hunting sheep though. Regardless, looking forward to time in the hills with a good friend. Hopefully the weather pattern improves for the better. It has been a rough "summer" so far.
