They are great rifles by all accounts. I have a pristine 30.06 that I haven't fired or even mounted a scope on. It's one of over a dozen rifles that I own in that cartridge, so I am debating on whether I will keep it or not.... I'm sure I'll regret letting it go but I simply haven't found time to set it up.

Can’t go wrong with a model 70 extreme weather. I bought one several years back in 7mm08 and loved it so much I bought a second in 30-06 and plan on having it made in to a 35 Whelen.

The accuracy is great, actions smooth, MOA trigger is great, and the bell and Carlson stock fits me well. I am a fan of CRF actions and owned a Kimber Hunter once..... not for very long before the Winchester booted it out the safe.

Cerakote, brake install, timney trigger
Shoots one inch and usually much less if I do my part
