This coming year unless I do archery will be with my 6.5CM, once I get my scope back from vortex I'll be working on making up loads. Goal is by next season to have a 7PRC be more of my elk gun. But we'll see, still haven't landed 100% on how I want to go about the 7prc.

I used my 28 Nosler shooting Berger 195 EOLs to take my first bull. I had my 6.5 PRC with Berger 156 EOLs as a backup. We got drawn for late rifle in AZ and I'm thinking about using my 6.5 PRC as my primary rifle this year.

Original/stock M70 Extreme Weather in 325WSM. 160gn TTSX, 3,200 fps at the barrel and 2,300 fps 400 yards out.

Also have a Ruger Alaskan in .375 Ruger, in a McMillan stock. However it is more of a bear gun.

6.5 PRC w factory Hornady 143 gr eldx. Light shooting round with decent ballistics. Shoot a Seekins Precision Havak Element. Love that gun/round combo. Expensive but I wouldn’t have gone a different route with a factory setup.

I bought a Tikka T3x in 30-06 for elk a few years back. But I have a feeling by the time I have an elk tag in hand I may have a T3x rebarreled to 6.8 western.

I would recommend a 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm - 08, or a 280 Remington for your application. Light recoil but still very deadly.

Just ordered a Ruger American Gen II in 7PRC. Been waiting a few months for the caliber to get released.

Have a Ruger American Predator Gen I in 6.5CM that I absolutely love as my Deer Gun.

Have you seen specs on the 7prc??? What barrel length?

20" Barrel on the Standard. 22" on the Predator. Both come in 7PRC.

I'm on waiting list for both, gonna take the first one that becomes available. I like the Predator colorway, but wouldn't mind the shorter Barrel of the standard. Both are threaded with factory Brake installed.

Consistently 8.5" groups at 1 mile??

I am interested to see your 2024 CBC results with that kind of a guarantee!

7mm rem mag savage 116. Been awesome for many of hunts in NV and CO. 150 ELD-X hasn’t failed me yet with this combo!
Recently upgraded to CA Ridgeline in 300prc. Yet to draw a rifle tag past year and put it to use. 212 ELD-X is showing great promise. 2930 fps avg with H1000. Just got my hands on some 245 Berger EOL pills and N570. Should be more than enough for anything on this continent!
