Where were you in NZ? We went to the Hossack Station last year and brought back a couple stags.

I took my wife to hunt antelope in Wyoming for her first hunt. And we just returned from hunting in New Zealand yesterday. Both fantastic hunts in target rich environments.

West Texas aoudad hunt, DIY or guided. Lots of desert and a fun hunt with lots of animals seen.

I'd say wherever you decide to go if give her at least a 2-3 hour head start. That's just good sportsmanship.

I agree with an antelope hunt. It's relatively easy hunting and hiking, and even if you don't get one she'll be able to see a lot glassing. Weather has potential to be cold and windy, but if you have a motel to go back to every night you can warm up, shower, etc.

If ya do Wyoming antelope. Bring pellet rifle or 22. They are on the high end of rabbit cycles.
