    Does doing this with the antibacterial wipes cause the "antibacterial" part to be ineffective? I really like this idea, just wondering if it turns the antibacterial wipes into just wipes....

    I'll be in the Ruby Mountains next week for my deer hunt. Is it cold/cool enough in the mornings and evenings that a puffy jacket is needed? Or will a fleece do the job until the sun heats up? Anyone know the average high/low temps up in the mountains? Thanks in advance, Eric

    I hunted within 2 hours of Denver last September. I only saw 1 other hunter. Saw elk each day, and lots of sign. As others have said, there are a lot of places to hunt. I only saw 1 other hunter. It's definitely doable!

    Lightweight Hooded shirt?

    Are you guys wearing these hooded shirts as the base layer, or do you have something under it? My hunt is Nevada in August, so I'm thinking I'll want something that can be worn next to skin when it's hot, but as the second layer in mornings if it's cool.

    I recently dehydrated some ground venison burger. When I re-hydrated it, it ended up a little chewy. Not sure if I didn't let it soak up long enough, or if this is just a common thing. I let it sit for about 10 minutes. Anyone else have this issue? Or a solution? Thanks

    This feels weird asking...

    I really like Fits merino socks. I've also used Darn Tough and FL. Both are good. I have used Ex Officio synthetic boxer briefs. I recently bought Minus 33 merino boxers. Wore them for a wedding I was in. 90 degrees and humid all day, they were a lifesaver. Never felt sweaty or clammy.

    Another Which premium boot thread

    I hunted Southeast Montana last fall over Thanksgiving. I wore uninsulated Lowa Tibets. Walked in snow almost every day. My feet stayed warm. I didn't sit much, they may have gotten cold if I'd done much glassing.
