2023 successful San Juan Mt. early season rifle draw

I was super lucky enough to draw this bull elk limited entry early season rifle tag. Working on my homework and scouting opportunities now. I'm looking for a place to start if any of my fellow elk hunting sportsman have information they could share with me to get me started on this once in my life time hunt it would be appreciated. Good luck hunting to all who drew tags and for those who didn't next years luck may come your way like it did for me this year.

Welcome to Rokslide. You should take an opportunity to look around a bit and you'll find this community is pretty awesome.

Now unfortunately we aren't letting FNG's (new guys) post up unit specific questions. Any unit question/answers remain out in the world wide webs forever, which can doom some really great spots.
