Baby otter or fisher?

Fischer. There is a lot of them where I live and otters have smaller, lower profile ears. Baby otters will be in the water with their mother or in the their den.

Not an Otter. Looks like a Fisher to me also. (Especially if he is bigger than a mink already).
Pretty cool though, I have trapped many Otter, Mink and Weasels.
Marten and Fisher were either illegal or not in the areas I trapped. They all are very cool critters with bigger than life attitudes :).

Not sure…the pointy looking ears throw me off. Them ears look like Marten. Fisher and mink tend to have round ears.

Not sure why size would be that of a full grown mink. The Oxalis next to its head makes it look much smaller than an adult mink.

Don’t have fishers or martins down here in VA. But I can definitely say it’s not an otter. Here’s an up close face of an otter I trapped
