I’m looking for some new binoculars for spring and next year. Currently using some cheap Amazon ones. Any suggestions for something in the $100 range or less range?

I’d like to get a 10x40 or 10x50, but am open to suggestions.

Nikon acculon porro are really good for the money. Popular with astronomers. I have a pair of 7x35 with 9.3 degrees of FOV that I really like. I have also owned the 8x40, 7x50, 10x42,10x50 in the past and they are all decent for the money

the Nikon 8x25 trailblazers are pretty amazing pocket binoculars and I know I’m not the only one to say so. They do well in outdoor reviews

I have a pair of Athlon neos 10x42 that live in my truck. During daylight hours they perform decently but in bad light conditions they leave something to be desired. Think I payed about 90 for them from optics planet. If you can save up a little more I think the cabelas branded intensity hd are a good choice. I’ve looked through a couple different pairs and I’m always impressed with their performance for the cost.

Sportsman's had some Vortex Diamondbacks for a little over $100 the other day. Nothing special but will work.

If you are going to use binos regularly, do yourself a favor and spend more than $100. You've surely spent more than that on a rifle scope.

I am looking through binos 20% of the time I am out there hunting, I look through my scopes an hour a year (and I shoot a lot). My binos will last a lifetime so long as I don't lose them, scopes will sell with the rifle they are mounted to.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the input. Haven’t bought anything yet, but this definitely helps the search.

Sightron SII Blue Sky. ATM the 8x32 is available for $130 but ive seen sales for about $90. At Adorama or the Amazon store. Very decent binos not made in China.

The standard SII 7x50 pops up forsale even cheaper. Also NOT made in China. Opticsplanet had some for $80.
