Colorado Mule Deer 2020

Just saw a guy on FB post a pic of his wife with a muley buck he said she killed in Colorado on 08/22/2020. I dont see where any season for deer is open in CO until 09/02. Is there a way this could happen legally with archery in August?

or is he just lying to not put attention to the real state? like how some people shoot mule deer in "Florida"?

Well, no muleys in florida, lol. I have since found that there is a Private land only early rifle hunt from 08/15/2020-08/25/2020. It is almost impossible to find in the regs. Archery is allowed too

Yes, but very difficult to locate in book. I did finally find it. Two units.
