Cowboy jerky

Anyone have a good cowboy jerky recipe?

Nope but when I was young we would just soak it in soy sauce, brown sugar and pepper. It all got dried out in the garage hung over string tied to the garage door rails. The dogs would clean up that garage floor real good so no need to worry about the dripping.
