DIY pull-outs, draw-stop bags etc..

Yeah, I like the boxed ones because you can better predict volume and spacial interactions with other pullouts. Ideally, I would like to have a set that is perfectly matched to the pack I would be hauling. Just load up the pullouts and they will fill the pack space perfectly.
 
A little pricey. Check the link below. They have 1.1oz 30D sil seconds for $5.90/yd. Pretty sure I have seen it cheaper too but can't seem to find it right now.

Also, it is worth it to check some local walmarts if you have some. Use the link below to find the stores that carry fabric. People have found silnylon (at least they claim it is) for $2.00/yd. Worst case, you might find some normal ripstop to test with and use in other applications.

I reckon it's time for me to buy a sewing machine and start making some things also. geez, something else to get into..
