Should be measuring from the deepest part of the grip of your bow to the corner of your mouth when in proper form and position. Just you tube nock on draw length.

Not exactly. Bow DL is measured from 1.75" in front of the deepest part of the grip (pivot point) to the > in the string. YOUR DL will vary depending on the bow's specs and cam design, but in general the > in the string should be at or just beyond the corner of your mouth. If the bow is short or has a shorter brace height you will likely want the string beyond the corner of your mouth so you can get the string to your nose w/o dropping your head. You might also need a shorter D-loop so your rear elbow/shoulder can be in the proper position. Longer bows w/ higher brace heights would likely require a shorter draw length and longer D-loop.

It's likely the number they have shot forever.

Different ways to determine draw length, most will run off of wingspan, but these are just jumping off points. Time spent experimenting will determine your actual draw length.

Then each bow company might or might not make a bow to the length they claim. That makes it more confusing.
