First Floorless and Tarp!

Spent some time on the phone with John at BearPaw....got a Bear Den 2 with rear vestibule and front zip and an 8x10 flat tarp on order. Pretty pumped to try my first floorless to use in late Sept archery elk......I have been following the DST tarp pitch options, so open to any feedback and 'lessons learned' when transitioning from a traditional tent to a floorless the first time (I have searched and read every thread here on floorless before I made this decision).

Honestly the only noticeable differences for are not having to go out to piss, and leaving my boots on. It seems like a very big change, but after you do it it seems minor.

Just switched to a floorless this year myself and wish I had done it sooner! I got the SO LBO setup with stove and LOVE it! I think you will be happy!
