G15 mountain goat Colorado

So I got lucky and drew a 3rd season goat tag for this area, I have spent quite a bit of time in the north half of this unit so I am pretty familiar with it, but if anyone has any previous experience or observations they would like to share with this area it would be appreciated.

thanks in advance ,

Never been in G15 though if a late hunt then the goats will still be above timberline and you want to look for windswept ridges. The goats could care less if 0F and 40mph winds but do need bare ground to feed.

Plan on having to navigate snow and ice. You will want crampons.

Good luck.
