Not sure how long you're going to be in Seattle but Duke's Seafood and chowder on Alki Ave is a good place to eat and look over the beach and bay area. Be sure to get outside seat on the upper deck if you can.
The pop culture museum by the space needle is really cool and worth going to.

1) Spend as little time in Seattle as possible, and don't go around downtown.
