GPS question

I am looking at purchasing my first Gps. I have narrowed it down to the garmin 64s or 64st. If I purchased the 64s can I get the topo maps online for free? Also do both units come with the "google earth" option to view when walking?

yes, check out gpsfiledepot. there is an amazing number of downloads including topo maps, you may have to add a memory card to store it all. Their version of google earth is called birdseye, I have not used it on mine but I think one model gets you a year free and the other you pay for your subscription but either can download to your unit via their basecamp software, but don't quote me on that.

FYI. Camofire has been having the Garmin Oregon 650 on the site pretty recently. If you like a touch screen, it works pretty good.
