Help from other Easterners

I am headed to CO for archery Elk this fall and am planning on hunting in the northwest part of the state. If any of you other easterners on here have hunted in that general vicinity and would be willing to offer up some insight I would appreciate it.

Can't help with location, but I got in shape and was with a buddy that was in the special forces and I regret not looking into a diamox prescription. That altitude is a killer.

I could tell you exactly where to hunt, but i'm not an easterner.
