Is there still value left to be had in AK?

We had a great time on a remote float, no hunting involved.
somethings in life take some work and some saving up for, but they are the ones that are worth if.
This is about the conclusion I’ve come to. I love hunting but had an equally fun time doing a week float north of the Artic Circle. Fishing was great and we saw a ton of game (15 grizzly). My only regret was not taking some pocket binos. All in cost was about $2500 a person which included commercial flights.

Hard not to have a great time when you’re catching Dollies like that!

Looks amazing. Something like that would be a lifetime trip, for sure.

Super nice fish! Those spawning colors are the prettiest in the fish world IMO.

Not sure how deer hunting on Kodiak wouldn't be considered value. Especially if you can shoot 2 or 3 deer and maybe kill a big fox or two.
