This might be a stupid question but am I adjusting the control cable when I am trying to time the cams? I'm assuming I get the timing right and then start tuning. I heard the DFX cam tunes better if the top cam hits first?
Mine hit the same

Had a 1.0 #2 cam set at 29” on a Defiant 34, I owned the bow for 1 day once i realized what a mess I was getting myself into. Add a few more speed Nock to your string on the upper portion, and play with your nock height after timing is set to your liking

I would adjust one thing at a time. Don't adjust three things at one time.

I have the same bow and can slow mo video record the shot to the point where I can rule out the rest. My try it.

Hoyt has specific tuning instructions and their tech line had answered questions when I've asked.

Double check your rest settings to make sure it's in ther Berger hole and set of the riser the correct distance. Then start doing one thing at a time.

Good luck.
