It was. Just the way it came together so quickly- a gamble on setting an ambush, arriving just minutes before dark, the exact buck showing up we were hunting (that I hadn't seen in weeks,) and the best part, Ryan shooting a LR rifle at 120 yards, sitting on his rump with his legs straight out and no rest and he HAMMERED HIM. I've just seen way too many of them get away over the years so the tension is high.

I seriously get the quivers thinking about it. That buck was one step from getting away forever but Fuzzy Wuzzy made the shot.
