They can be called in the Fall, and often will come in just out of curiosity, but I simply pattern them. I watch (and listen for) their daily routine which becomes more definable that other times of the year.
They love to pick the still-green grass shoots under pines with the early Winter snows. Getting set up and concealed in that situation often works.
It's often easy hunting and can be close to home, but turkeys are turkeys! They don't miss anything.
