Just got the frame and a nomad bag and quarter panel. Put it all together and grabbed my 80lb sand bag.
Loaded it up. And noticed right away the hip belt seems more comfy than my SG. Overall felt pretty good but when I crank down on the load lifters it pulls the frame into my back and the horizontal stay on the frame digs into my back.

I'm almost wondering if I should get a tactical frame. I dont care about the weight. Or should I add some foam or something to keep that horizontal bar from digging into my back.

I'll add pics of need be.

Shouldn’t be cranking down on the load lifters. Just a little tension there is all you want.

If that horizontal stay is far enough down to touch your back you either have a really straight back or your pack is sitting too low.

Yeah you’ll never find the best comfort in cranking too far with the load lift
