Would like to know more on your bow. What year was it made? About how much use did it see? What speeds were you seeing and how heavy an arrow? Poundage of the bow?
I have shot antelope for many years with a 25-06, 260 Rem, 7mm rem mag, and a 300 win mag. I have a 243win, and have shot it to 1079 yards in calm to no wind. I’d have no problem taking a goat with the 243 win within 500 yards. If farther, I’d trust something heavier due to our lovely breeze...
I use progressive lens in my glasses for about two years now. I can shoot with or with out them. They only correct my astigmatism, slight nearsightedness at distance, but damn it sucks to get old and lose reading capabilities. They are expensive so I’d hate to break or lose them. Winter snow...
Thanks for the replies. Really sounds like something I will be looking at in the future. I wish I had a longer draw length, but I was graced with short arms.
“Friends of convenience” your the friend with the means, which is convenient for him. I have “had” a few friends like that. Had being the most important word!
From central Wyoming. We got hammered in the last snow storm. It then melted, froze the top layer, and the winds didn’t blow it away as usual. So the deer are going to have trouble getting to feed. Great for grass later, but not right now.
Looking for input on the Xpedition Xcusion 6 px3 cams with 26.5 draw length and real world speeds. Looking at replacing my Bowtech Assassin. Any input on this bow would be great. Oh, I am a lefty.
Thanks.
77.5 grains of H1000 with 215 grain Berger hybrids with Norma brass and CCI250 primers. I am getting 2850 FPS out of a Rem 700 long range, no bolt lift, All actions and brass are different , so start at around 74 grains. They shoot awesome!
A friend and I split the cost of the equipment and I built the rack to hold the brass. We bought the low temp 275 salt to use. We tested some on some old 308 casings I had. Seems to work quick and we just have to see from here. The salt was cheap at $4 a pound but the shipping was $16.
