Located this cool 3x3 on Sunday and was able to sneak in on him and his lady friend. 34 yard shot and it was over before he knew what hit him. #Kansas

My brother and I made a trip to Colorado 2nd season. It was warm and dry, with no snow in the high country. Made it tough but we found two shooters and killed them both. I found mine on day 2 and killed him the following evening after sitting on him for 8 hours. We ended up finding my brothers on the afternoon of day nine. After nine days of grinding I think he was pretty sure it wasn't gonna happen but it's not over till it's over. Brother in law and I filled our muley tags on our first western DYI Montana trip. Drove all the way from Florida. Had a great time fumbling and bumbling around in very high pressured public units.

Could not be prouder of my Pops!!! He can't get too deep into the backcountry anymore, but he still clubbed this 192½" heavy bruiser!!! If this thing had back forks, it would be well into the two hundo class. His G4's were crazy long. In true Dad style he was already butchering when my brother showed up to actually take a pic, haha. (My bro accidentally shot the wrong buck, so Pops kicked both our butts this year)received_429477231914490.jpeg6352.jpeg

HA! It’s actually a unicorn spike. He didn’t really care much about me. At one point he walked up to about 10 yards and looked at the buck. Then slowly walked off.

Passed about 10 bucks on the muzzleloader hunt but had 3 landowner doe tags this year. Filled all 3 just only got a pic of this one. Got all 3 with great grandpas 30-06 and they were all 1 shot kills so that was pretty cool.

My oldest (10) had his first year deer hunting this year. We were able to sneak in to a draw with a thicket that had some deer bedded/milling around in it and wait to see what popped out. When this buck stepped out and gave Huntley a standing broadside shot, he took a deep breath, gently squeezed the trigger, and put the bullet through both lungs! He's happy with the buck and I couldn't be more proud of the way he handled himself hunting all weekend!

Once his deer was taken care of we were off to find one for me. The next day we made a similar move, sneaking into an area I knew we could find deer out of the wind. When this guy popped out of the bottom chasing a doe I saw those deep forks and set up for a shot. I walked out with a decent buck, but again, I was more proud of how my son handled himself as we closed the distance on these deer. It's going to be a lot of fun watching him grow as a hunter the next several years!
