28 Nosler or 300 RUM?

How you liking that Lone Peak action Ryan? I just live about ten minutes from those guys.

Ok, I was off a little. 2920 on the RUM and 3000 on the Nosler. I was pretty surprised when I saw those numbers myself, especially the energy numbers. I think that's where I got the higher values I mentioned above.

They have similar shoulder angles. The rum holds 122.5 grains of water. The 30 holds 93 grains of water. The 30 can't compete with the rum in velocity.

When I got to thinking about the 230 it became apparent that to seat it in the 30 Nosler you would have to build it on a RUM length action anyways...when in Rome...
