It’s been a fun ride learning how to hunt these amazing animals. Got lucky with my 3rd archery bull in 3 years following my move west from Illinois. Archery OTC, DIY, Solo hunts. I’ve been really lucky the last 2 years to run into other hunters who graciously helped pack out my bulls (year 1 I packed him out solo, so I know the pain). Can’t wait til next September already...

I do wanna try canned elk. Maybe if I can convince my daughter to leave her phone and friends for a couple days, we can get her another bull to try canning on? I also picked up a leftover cow tag for second rifle so who knows.
