anybody using HPG kit as bino harness?

Not sure if I'm missing something. Kit bag holds 10x'42s with no problem in front pocket along with the other things it's designed to hold in others. Is there a reason I'm not seeing to have a separate bino harness attached? i.e. are the zippers an issue? I know they can be hot in warm weather but not an issue with later rifle season I'm hunting.
