Sold my 223 a year ago and haven’t picked up a new varmint gun, planned to use my 6 creed tikka but have sold that also. Anyone shooting a hunter or ridge in 22-250?

Not a hunter nor ridge but I have a hmr in 22-250 and it is one of the most accurate rifles I own.

Hand loading heavier bullets? Most of the factory ammo I’ve seen are in the 40-50 grain range.

Yes hand loading, it's a 1:9 so I'm shooting 69gr sierra tmk

No but only because of availability- I have a ton of the tmk and varget.
I'd bet you could stabilize the eld-m with the added velocity they reccomend a 8 twist for 223 velocities

Thanks. I’ll have to look around for bullets and brass...the 22-250 bergaras have had my attention lately.
