AZ 6a help

Im looking at going on an OTC archery hunt next August/Sept. Ive kind of decided on 6a due to having family close, and being in 6a a few times before. Im not asking for honey holes, but just tips/advice on the area. Im primarily looking at the quiet areas in the unit to hopefully cut down on hunter pressure. All advice is welcome and if anyone is planning on going on this hunt next year and would like a partner hit me up!

I used to hunt 6A east of Elk Park Meadows. Hunted deer and elk there years back. Also done some archery deer hunting over in unit 10.

Are you talking about next Aug/Sept as in a year from now ?

I was in 6a opening otc archery on the 24th and we saw one elk and one squirrel. There was a recent fire that caused alot of smoke in and around that whole area. The conclusion we came up with is the smoke had anything with four legs ran for high ground.

Yes, 2020. I wont be able to make it this year. Might be able to swing a January 2020 hunt.
